Now that Zay’s 5 he can fly as an unaccompanied minor and my cousin is trying to get me to fly just him out for spring break. While I’m sure Zay will be okay now that he has language and this kid has a lot of flights under his belt, I’m not ready yet!!! Maybe it’s my anxiety talking 🤔

Ummmm... nope I wouldn't do it.. at least for my kid anyway. I can't really speak for yours, but in my opinion 5 is very young.
Just because someone is technically old enough for something, doesn't mean that it's a good idea to do it.

Agreed! There’s no way I’d send my son alone on a plane, and he’s 8.

I ended up saying hit me up when he hits double digits then we can talk. Autism/SPD/anxiety makes me say ummm no. They’ll see him 6 weeks later when we fly out anyway!

My daughter just turned 5 on the 3rd and my mom made sure to tell her that she can fly out to her house in Vegas and I am just not ready at all lol

I decided on waiting on that until at least 10. My son is on the spectrum too, I need him to develop way more.
