I’ve been told it’s worth the wait, but I also have a friend who didn’t find out and got her mind set that it was a girl and ended up feeling disappointed at the birth - to me that’d be pure heartbreak, to feel disappointment (even just for a moment) rather than pure joy 😔

That’s good! I mean I hope it’s a girl for you, but it’s good your not building yourself up so you won’t be disappointed.
We plan on not finding out with our next baby but we have no gender preference at all! We wanted a boy first so we found out and were thrilled but for the rest I have zero expectations so we will be team green.
