So I REALLY don’t want to be put back on Birth control after this baby, pill doesn’t work (literally 2 babies because Of the pill), which I took at the same time every single day!!, IUD kept moving so I can’t get that, I refuse the thing in my arm, and I don’t trust a patch. But I 100% know I am done having kids so I was thinking about getting my tubes tied....but I have extremely bad periods....is there anything I don’t know about that could stop periods too? I don’t think tying my tubes would stop it? Haven’t done much research on it but asking at next appointment but seeing if there is anything else I should ask my OB (:

After my youngest I tried it before the IUD and it made my periods even heavier 🙄😐 I hate my body honestly

There’s something called an ablasion but it’s usually done for women hitting menopause but they burn the inside of your uterus and it stops your periods, but you’d still also need your tubes tied to be sure you couldn’t get pregnant because the ablasion only will make it hard to get pregnant but it can still be possible. So you’d need both. But i was told doing that and stopping your period can throw you into early menopause which isn’t fun let alone at this age.

@paigerue2013, I have been thinking of switching to that! And I always wondered if tying your tubes effects your period at all but never asked. My SIL said it didn’t change hers but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t at all it might work like birth control where some women have lighter periods and others it just stays normal.

that makes me wonder if it does I mean I’ll ask my ob for sure! If not maybe get my tubes tied with an ablation to stop or lighten them 🤷🏼♀️😂

🍆✂️ worked better for me. No hormones messing up my cycles, no risk of 🤰 for me. Cost less for the procedure versus mine or any other BC. And best part, he was back to work the next day and back to doing everything he wanted within a week. We used condoms until his count was checked. But 100% worth it for us.
