Why Was I Denied a Nursing Assistant Job Without ER Experience?
My sister works at the hospital. She said they’re so desperate for nurses and nursing assistants that they offer $30 per hour on top of their usual pay for weekend jobs. I applied for a nursing assistant position and they denied me because i don’t have hospital ER experience....

I’m already a certified medical assistant. I have over a year experience AND know my way around the electronic health record system they use. I don’t get it

That's when you called them back and tell them you have medical background experience. Just not in an ER. You know, they're desperate, You are willing to help them out and you got to get your ER experience somewhere and you would love for them to be your first since it is such a great Hospital It would be good for you to get your experience there because you know you'll get the right training. Whether you're being honest or not it could work
