My 9 almost 10 yr old cousin is homeschooled and cant read and is doing 1st grade math 🤦♀️ he is not mentally challenged..... should I say something??
Ummmmm what in the world. I thought people homeschool because they want their kids to have an educational advantage or something. If you are going to be that lazy, why not just send them to public school? There has to be some kind of legal mandate related to no child left behind or something. That’s crazy
If he is homeschooled the county he lives in should be monitoring his activity. When I homeschooled my kids we had live lessons and their teachers called once a month as well as grade appropriate materials were sent to us. You may be able to contact whomever he is homeschooled with and inform them.
Interesting. Not your cousin, I hope he can get on track. Is he in a higher grade? I always wondered how homeschooling worked in general.
She claims he is in 1st grade....but he should be in like 4th or 5th. He can not read. He can only write 3 lettered words. Cant multiply or divide.
There is no learning disability. They are lazy and he only dose school work like 1 a week
Um, yes, definitely!!! The person homeschooling is obviously not doing their job! That poor kid!
Assuming there is no learning disability.
Omg yes! Maybe there is more to it than what they have been telling you maybe not. Don't be judgemental though when you ask just politely say you've noticed he's been struggling and what to know if you can help. My niece has ADHD and really struggles with reading for her age.
Wow. I would ask. That sucks for that kid.
