My son has a strawberry hemangioma & had to recently see a specialist because of it being on his bottom lip (pic)
I will know if he can take the medication to strink it or if they would have to do surgery when they call me tomorrow sometime.
I know it’s painful && it makes me feel so bad I can’t really smooth him, all I was told to help comfort him was to use Benadryl. All he do is cry& I feel bad I get frustrated with him but I know the reason for his discomfort.
Anyone ever dealt with this before?

God bless poor little man. I can see in his face that he is in a lot of pain, 😢 I pray that his lip is resolved ASAP hopefully by the end of the month you can show updates if your comfortable with that. It would be so relieving to know he’s relieved from that discomfort

My daughter had a large one on her neck as an infant. It didn’t cause her pain though. I’m so sorry he’s having to deal with that. I hope they can do something.

i had one right by my eye "roots of it" ran all way to my neck i ended up having to have laser surgery to help it out i still have places and scars. since it was on my eye i had to wear a patch on my other eye to strengthen my bad eye but didn't really help i still can't see good out of it
@mommin.it, glad they have medicine now that could help it wasn't as common as it is now when i was a baby
@gothmomx2, I know, the specialist was telling me about that but he said if the meds didn’t work then the only other thing is surgery
