Hello Friends, So I know I’ve been very to myself lately and barely post but I feel the need to share what’s going on too raise awareness of how important it is as women to get our regular Pap Smear test.
I went to get my checkup back in December and it came back abnormal so I had to then get a Colposcopy of my cervix. They found that I have pre cancerous cells in my cervix. So I’m now seeing an Gynocologist oncologist. Yesterday I had surgery to remove part of my cervix and hope that the pre cancerous cells are all taken out. They are taking action because I’m at high grade level 3 so just one more step and I’m officially in the cancer stage. I have faith that all margins will come back clear and that I just have to continue getting checked to make sure my cells come back normal. Along with all of this they also discovered that my uterus is enlarged so now we’re discussing the possibilities of having another surgery to remove my uterus.
Ladies I urge you all to be on top of your checkups. It’s so important to get your routinely Pap smears if I wouldn’t-have gotten my checkup they wouldn’t have discovered this and then it could have been discovered once it was completely developed into a cancer.

Good job 👏🏽
I went through this at a young age and was terrified because cancer runs rampant in my family (hodgkins-lymphoma, thyroid, & cervical) I had to do the colposcopy and rechecks every 6 months for a few years.
Stay on top of your health beautiful lady 👍🏽
