Don’t put them away just yet girl. They told me my baby was gonna be at-least 9lbs she came out 8lbs 4oz but it’s common for babies to loose a little weight after birth especially if your breastfeeding. I literally thought the same thing I didn’t even bring newborn clothes with me to the hospital I brought 0-3 months and she was too small for them.

I would wait they guess on that they told me if I went 40weeks baby would still be under 7lbs maybe 6.5 but she was almost 8lbs

I was told my last 2 would be big and they was right. Both over 9lbs. I didn't buy any newborns just a few 0-3 which he didn't wear long. He is 2 months now and is 13lbs 6ozs
