Experience putting toddler from cot to toddler bed? I know it sounds really dumb but just sae an Emma's diary email that said "you might get a few night time visits" and it hadbt occurred to me he'd get out of bed in the night. My anxiety is through the roof, and most of our arguments over lack of sleep so I'm dreading this now

You can put a stair gate in the bedroom door so he can’t get out his bedroom xx

thanks i know it sounds like a really dumb thing to be anxious about honestly.me.and OH have had full blown storming out the house at 3am arguments over sleep

it doesn’t at all! Defo put a baby gate on the bedroom door and baby proof the room. Usually mine wake up at call me xx

When we moved hamish it took him weeks to realise he could get out of bed himself 😂 I had to tell him come get mummy in her room instead of shouting me and that’s what he does now. He sleeps all night and comes for me in the morning. Moved him at 22 months and he’s in a single bed now

Thanks my LO is almost 2 and hasn't yet discovered he can climb but trying to prepare the room
