My husband and I went back and forth for a long time. Ultimately we waited until we both got through school, bought houses, and got our life more settled before jumping into the TTC water. We're in such a good place now. Definitely talk it over and consider everything. I've seen people have 2 or three kids but can't really afford anything at the end of the day. That puts pressure on relationships and the children end up suffering the most.
