So my niece has finally been discharged from the hospital since she was born on August 30 at 23+1 weeks gestation. I’m really excited but also really anxious as my son has already displayed jealousy when I’ve held her.
I know that me being stressed won’t help him but I don’t know how to make him feel better when everyone in his life starts paying more attention to my niece. We all live in the same house.

Also I think I’m going to have to adjust to my boy not being centre of attention too which I didn’t anticipate feeling that way

They all adjust, they will be best of friends. At times my eldest gets more attention than my youngest because he’s more demanding.
I think try to remember how excited you are now that she is getting home. There shouldn’t be jealousy. There is always enough love within a family for new babies.
Make sure you spend one on one time with him, days out when you can and keep his routines the same, your sister is there for your niece.

Just make sure you still give him most of your attention, that’s all he’ll care about x
