What can I give my 7 month old for barking cough??
Medicine / home remedy. He’s been with the flue for ever.

Didn't you say he had pneumonia also? Is the cough getting worse?
No it’s my other son . Who has pneumonia. His cough is much better. He does cough here and there through out the day but the baby is bad! Non stop crying like if his throat hurts. He has an ear infection also.
A barking cough might be croup and he might need steroids
Plus sitting in the bathroom and steaming it up will help moisten his cough
That’s what I have . But his pediatrician said not to.

My sons pediatrician said not to give him because he will get worse! She said to let him cough , that I will go away.
Now it’s been a week since since I took him to urgent care & he is not getting any better . I’ve been doing chamomile tea with honey. Vick’s on baby feet, Tylenol. Literally nothing is working. I know it takes days for their body to get better . But I’m desperate.
@simply_mee, your 7 month old should not have honey due to infant botulism
Poor guy. Hope you get answers and he gets relief after his dr appt.
