- how much (or little is probably more accurate) sleep I got ⁣⁣

- the girl's attitudes ⁣⁣

- how many spills I've cleaned up ⁣⁣

- how many cups of coffee I've had 😏⁣⁣

- how late we are to an appointment⁣⁣

- how many "mommy's" I hear all at once ⁣⁣

- how many fights I've broken up ⁣⁣

- how much screaming I've heard ⁣⁣

- how much tattling is happening ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

...and so many other things that shouldn't be...⁣⁣

⁣⁣

But no matter how my mommy mood changes the girls know that one thing will never change and is never dependent on anything else in my day or on what they've done- my love for them. It doesn't depend on how sleep deprived I am or how many times they've dumped their cereal bowl over or unfolded my laundry. My love for my girls is unconditional because of who they are- they're my daughters and no matter what the circumstances of life are around them- I love them and always will 💜💜💜⁣⁣

And for all you tired and cranky mommas who are in a mommy mood you don't love- when we're feeling like a hot mess and super unlovable, remember that we have a Heavenly Father that says the same about us- but His love is based on who He is- because He IS love- and it's a perfect love that's unchanging and faithful forever, no matter our mood or our motions. ⁣⁣ | 1 John 4 |
