Don’t be scared. Carry on life as normal but just be more aware of where toilets are out and about. If you go past one ask if he wants to try. You will start to get used to how long he can go between wees etc. As your confidence grows it will be fine.

As for nighttime, you can’t train. It will happen once a hormone has kicked in which allows his body to wake him if he needs to go. Don’t limit fluids as it won’t help. It will happen when it happens. Good luck x

Don't put a nappy on him when you go out otherwise he might go backwards with the potty training. With Lexi we put those puppy training pads under her bum in the car seat or pushchair. She never had an accident. We built up the time spent outside the house, like one day we went round the corner to the shop (try for a wee before leaving and when returning) next we would go in the car to the supermarket (5min drive) and when we got there would go the toilet first. Then we went to town the time after 10 mins drive and then to a toilet and when going round town kept asking her and kept in mind where the toilets were xx
