Help 😭 my nearly 2yo who had always slept well wakes throughout the night. The last 2 weeks hes been waking st 3,4,5am last night was at 12 then 2.40 he immediately stands in his cot screaming and I cant console him. He pointd to the door and if I say its bedtime he screams more, I end up taking him down (I know I shouldnt but it's not worh the arguments with OH) once were down hes clearly shattered and desperately tossed and turns but takes about an hour or more to go back to sleep. I had 3 hours of bits of sleep last night and working full time and ill and I'm at my whits end
Thank you, he sleeps with a teddy but he sleeps in the dark as thats how hes always slept so I will try the night light x
@stacey1991 theo has always slept with a black out blind, because we have a street light right outside the back of our house. When he started waking we started leaving the blind open and he started sleeping again. Good luck! X
Trigger. Our precious boy
Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So my doctor says I have to start putting the baby in his crib at night and letting him cry it out when he wakes for a bottle. She says he should be sleeping 10-12 hours at a time by now (he only sleeps about 2-3 hours before he wakes wanting a bottle or pacifier). She swears if we do this it won't take more than 3 nights for him to adjust and start sleeping better. She says that he should only get 1-2 naps a day too and we should lay him down at night as soon as he starts showing signs of being...
Y’all my 15 month old is the WORST sleeper. He is so hard to put down and at night wakes up at the slightest sound and will sleep like 4-6 hours at night IF that. I’m exhausted and so tired. Been trying to put him down for over an hour now 😭 last night took 3.
My baby is 2 today!! I literally cried myself to sleep last night snuggling with him. (yeah, I let him sleep in my bed last night bc I he wanted to & I wanted him to) lol
Why are birthdays so hard for meeee?! 😭😭😭
Theo went through this at about 20 months. Don't give in, sit in the room with him until he falls asleep, but don't take him down. It could be that he's becoming fearful of things... Try a night light so that his room isn't to dark and maybe a teddy bear :) x
