I don’t want to bug my sons doctors unless it’s necessary. My son has been having diarrhea since the 29th several times a day. I am making sure he’s hydrated. Should I call his doctor? I knows it’s been a week in a half. He’s breast fed and is eating pretty well still. Just thought I’d ask you ladies and see if you guys have dealt with it for this long?

My daughter has had a lot of diarrhea issues in her life and the drs never seem concerned unless theys a fever or signs of dehydration. But each kid is different. My son is the opposite and always constipated lol best of both worlds

Usually he’s always consipated. He is usually never like this.

what do you do for his constipation? Sometimes diarrhea is going around a poo plug, but happening because of constipation blocking things up and only liquid can pass.

I’ve been doing prune juice and yogurt for probiotics.

No I don’t believe so. He has teeth still coming in that’s aren’t fully in but are already in.

My son has had a lot of diherrah but I went to see a g.i specialist at the time we thought he had c diff because he was on so many antibiotics because he was having lots of ear infections. BUT every child until they're 2 test positive for it. So when we thought he had it he really didn't BUT we did find out he was lactose. Is there anything new they're you're eating or he's eating or anything you eat that he seems to have to go right after!? I'd ask them to send you to see a G.I doctor and they can do more tests than a normal doctor. My son still has soft stools and he's 3 he's never had hard poop . He's had many issues with watery poop where his butt gets super red and we use the pink ointment behind the pharmacy counter which works amazing. I hope you get answers it took me until he was almost 2 before doctors would let me see them and it took me to freak out on them

I hope it gets better for your son soon! No he’s not eating anything new. I thought maybe dairy was bugging him but I’ve done dairy free days and it didn’t help. I’ll email his doctor and see about running some test! I feel bad. Everytime he eats with in a couple minutes he poops. I’ll have to try the pink ointment his butt has had a pretty bad rash.

the pink ointment is the best. It cleaned my kids up within the first 2 uses of it depending on how bad it is. They say when you apply it to not rub all of it off . Of course you clean the poop and stuff but try to keep ointment on as much as possible. My kids love it because it works as soon as you apply it.

I have a friend she said her 3 yr old had had it since birth every day for 4-5 times a day 🤷🏼♀️ supposedly she had pin worms but she won’t do squat for it

Omg are you serious?? Poor thing. She should get her treatment for it.
