She cried her side hurt. Nurse at school clinic misdiagnosed her with UTI
She went to the hospital because she was in THAT bad of pain
When. We got there she didn't have a UTI just Strept but she swore her throat never hurt. I was like how was I supposed to know. She only said her side hurt.
@nerdymommyplus2, that’s crazy! My 7yo had like, chronic ear infections as an infant/toddler and had tubes. So now - whenever he gets diagnosed with an ear infection it’s shock because he never says he’s in pain. 🤷🏻♀️

I sent my child to school twice while she had strept but she never had a fever. I assumed her throat hurting was allergy drainage 🤦
I felt so bad
But I also let her teacher know as soon as she was diagnosed so she could disinfect

Basically called me a bad parent.
Like how am I supposed to know she had strept when her throat didn't hurt
Side hurting, fever inflamed kidneys elevated heart rate were ALL side effects of strept. She had it bad.. I didn't even know those were side effects
