Both doc and pharmacy gave the ok to take Sudafed while breastfeeding but I’m still scared because I heard it drys your milk up ... anyone experienced this before?

I was actually told to take this when I was trying to dry up my milk and it helped a lot, so I am surprised they said it was ok to take.

I was told to take it when I had fluid in my ear after an ear infection but decided against it due to breastfeeding. I read a study that said it decreased milk supply by like 25 % after one day of taking it. I just use the Afrin nasal spray to help instead
