Anyone else have such a soft spot with their kids or one of them. With my eldest I’ve always been pretty routined, no means no, bed time is bed time and in your own bed, etc.
With my youngest I just can’t say no. I’m so soft. I have no will power with him at all. It’s insane.
I love my children equally and I wouldn’t give something to the youngest I’d just told the oldest he couldn’t have. But on individual matters I’m just too soft. He has his dummy far too much. I pick him up too much. I give him his own way far too much. I’m making my life harder I’m sure.

I think I did so much by the book with my first. Feel like I’ve far more ‘whatever’ with my second. Anything for a quiet life. And anything for a cuddle. I bought him chocolate rolls at the shop today because he told me he loved me and gave me a kiss. I’m a sucker

This is me definately! I worked with babies so I kind of implemented what I did at work. So with Morgan I stopped bottles certain times etc. Where as with Max I was like ahh if he still wants a bottle at 1yr & formula let him have it 😂

I’m exactly the same 😂 I know Madison is still a young baby so it’s very different but when Daisy was her age I was very “she has to be in a routine ASAP” and I wouldn’t even consider co sleeping... completely different with Madison 😂

I think I know what you mean. Both of mine have the same boundaries & are treated the same. But I definately 'baby' Max a bit more change did with Morgan. A mix of Morgan was different very independent as a baby/ toddler. Max has always been a little more dependant on me.

This is exactly like my 2. Alfie’s always been very independent and Remy has always needed/wanted me more.
