C section mamas!

I’ve been having pain near my incision. It’s fully healed and there’s no redness. But I went from feeling 100% to feeling pulled muscles in my lower abdomen. I’m also super bloated. I had a drs appointment today and she basically told me it’s fine and to call if it didn’t go away by Friday.

Anyone else experience this?

I have too !!! But at 6 months still but my doctor said her’s even hurt and stuff up to one year honestly you should try getting a c section massage certain massage centers offer it if ultrasound finds nothing “Research supports that massage therapy aids in making scars less noticeable and improve muscle function and tissue mobility by breaking down restricted movements of the scar (called adhesions) 1,2,3,4. Why is this important? A c-section scar that doesn’t move very well can end up ‘pulling’ on surrounding tissues- your abdominals, pelvic floor, hip muscles– which can actually impact their ability to function well.” “Scar tissue could accumulate on other organs such as the bladder or even the uterus and could result in functional impediments such as infertility in extreme cases. You could even develop pelvic and back pain as a consequence.” And massage centers have said every body is different so everything that happens is including side effects so it might help because yea I’ve been told there’s nothing else a doctor can do if they find nothing but you can request an abdominal ultrasound to make sure first or it could also be abdominal separation on the side because there can be very minor where you barely physically notice it which all separation after a c section or pregnancy they call normal medically included usually I was told if you do avoid exercise till a few months postpartum even 5 months if it’s still bad
