Random question.. if I switched my birth control pill to a lower dose hormone (apparently it’s as low as they can possibly give me) would switching my pill even though I never missed a day in between the old pack and starting a new one, could it chance me getting pregnant? Like does it work the same as if I wasn’t on any at all until my body adjusts? Just curious because I had some light spotting and I’m not entirely sure what it’s from and it kinda made me paranoid it could be implantation bleeding or somehow be my period trying to start early even though I’m not due for another week. Any input is appreciated 🙂

I did that I switched after a month to the lowest hormone because I was breast feeding and it lowered my milk drastically . When you have the lowest your supposed to take it not only everyday but around the sametime I was told . It didn’t change my cycles but I did get pregnant on it I found out a 3 weeks ago that I was 8 weeks pregnant my period before my missed one was completely Normal . I can o my think that it went wrong from me because time wise I didn’t take them everyday around the sametime

Yes I was also told this and I’ve been pretty good with doing it at the same time everyday. I’m just hoping I didn’t get pregnant on it cause I’ll literally die lol

That’s what I’m unsure of. I’ve been on this new one almost the complete month so could breakthrough bleeding happen this late?

@coffeebean, i cried like i was going to die 😂😂😂 Because im tired of being pregnant i have a 10 yr old a 2 yr old and a just tunred 1yr old now im pregnant agiain and have to have my 4th c-section .

Oh lord mama I feel you ! Keeping you in my prayers forsure ! If I got pregnant now, it would be my 4th and my youngest is 1yr and 3mo so I didn’t exactly want another one right now which is why I’m on birth control lol . So I’m hoping thats not the case . My doctor never mentioned anything to me so I didn’t think of it till this spotting started .

I was told by my OB that I got pregnant with my 2nd more than likely because I switched birth control. I never missed a pill or anything but switched to a higher level of estrogen and was pregnant within a month.

Thank god im waking up this morning to my full on period so I definitely think it’s safe to say I’m not pregnant 😂🙏🏼 but it’s good to know it can happen like that now just for future knowledge! But that’s crazy it happened to you like that !
