My 13 year old sister did my makeup, I like never wear any. What are some of your ladies tips to help her get better? Also, this eye shadow color is not very flattering.

For eyeshadow- start with a small amount and built it up as you blend. Also...blend blend blend so she doesn't have harsh lines that are hard to work with.
And have fun with it! It's only makeup.

The eyeshadow isnt really the issue, it could look good on you if done right 😊 She’s still young, so maybe let her practice on lighter shades, nothing too dark just yet, so the mistakes arent so noticeable.
For this look it is blended too high up. She could have used a blending shade, closest to your skintone. Probably best to use 3 brushes. One to blend, the other to pack up the darker eyeshadow &’ the third to apply blending shade. Then add a matte lighter shade in the corner of your brows to add definition to the eyeshadow look. Also apply eyeshadow evenly especially on the lids.
Cheap, good quality brushes from Bhcosmetics. Wet&Wild has great pigmented eyeshadows for such a cheap price!
Did she also try to contour your nose?

Its not for everyone but it does take time to get the hang of it. till now i still make mistakes myself haha.
