My child used to LOVE brushing his teeth but lately it’s been a fight every single time and I’m about to go crazy. 🤪 he clamps his mouth closed and flings his head back and forth everytime he sees the toothbrush. I also am pretty sure he has sensitive teeth anyways and he’s even chipped the front two already. SOOOO what I’m saying here is SOMEONE HELP ME WITH TIPS PLS. 😅
I almost did actually get him one because mine is and he always seems amazed by it but I wasn’t sure if I seemed crazy thinking that could change how he felt about it lol
@brittanyyyy It's worth a shot. You could let him pick one out too. My daughter's is Frozen and that just makes it that much more "special".
Maybe you can try letting him watch in the mirror and being as silly as possible to make him laugh. I had an old neighbor who had the same problem with her son never had a problem with it before then all of a sudden he acted like someone was killing him. She tried the mirror thing and being silly making funny sounds singing all in front of the mirror and it worked for her!!
I try to make my son smile big. We just be goofy and usually he’s too busy smiling that he doesn’t fight it anymore. We also will watch the brush your teeth sing by Mother Goose Club and that helps sometimes too.
What type of toothbrush do you use? We got a kids electric toothbrush for my daughter for Christmas and she is obsessed with brushing her teeth now.
