so i happened to go to the hospital just to do a cervix check. as painful as they are i like to see if my cervix softened or came down lower. i’m 2cm long, which i’ve dilated but my cervix is still high.
@queendope You want your contractions to be 5 minutes or less apart, lasting at least one minute long and going on for at least an hour! You should download a contraction timer. It's really helpful!
Again, this is only if your water hasn't broken. Once you think that happens go in no matter what. Sometimes it's a false alarm because there's a lot of liquidy discharge at the end but don't mess around with fluid lol
Little one will be here in no time!! It's so hard to be patient at the end but girl don't put yourself through that unless you're at your OB. 😭 I went by the 5-1-1 rule unless the OB made me go to the hospital. I basically refused to go in the night I had my daughter because I was so afraid to get sent home. 😂
@queendope I know. It's the worst at the end waiting but for real just follow the 5-1-1 unless your water breaks or your OB sends you in. It's so discouraging to get sent home and it sucks to go sit there lmao. I can't wait for you to have your peanut! Fingers crossed those contractions get long and strong!
