So, I’m super irritated. My son still breastfeeds and I have no intention to stop any time soon. My mother just told me that it’s time to stop. Is it wrong of me that I don’t see the need to stop?

It's up to you and your son when that time comes. My youngest was weaned last month. He would've kept going if it was his choice but it was time. I needed to stop. Don't let anyone bully you into stopping if you aren't ready.

Not bad at all! Stop when you feel ready or he does. Breastmilk will still protect him from illness. It’s a good thing. I breastfed my son until his was almost 2. I’ll probably breastfed my daughter longer. We’ll see.
