I am currently 40weeks & 4days. I had my 40 weeks check up yesterday & the Dr said that if the baby does not arrive by Saturday I'll be getting induced on Sunday. . .
If any of you mommies been induced can you let me know your experience, please & thank you ❣

I was induced with my second, I was already 4 cm. On lowest dose of pitocin for 3 hours,5 pushes and he was here. Compared to my first, which was natural, contractions were stronger faster but they didn't last as long.

Induced at 42 weeks. With cervidil 3 rounds. Then a balloon to open up the cervix. Then pitocin. It took 3 days. Gave birth vaginally. It was my first baby

I was induced with my 2nd son and it was such an easy labor and delivery! Seriously I was joking and laughing while pushing. He came out with 3 pushes. So simple. I was 41 weeks.

I was technically induced at 40 weeks and 2 days. Doctor just broke my water and my body did the rest. No medicine needed. My amniotic fluid was too low, otherwise she would have let me go another week.

I went into labor with my first naturally and was induced with pitocin with my second . Being induced the contractions were definitely more painful but I was already 5cm dilated when I went in so everything happened fairly quickly (I was lucky with two quick and easy labors). I would 100% prefer to go naturally but in my experience being induced wasn't too bad, worse then going natural but not as bad as I was thinking. I made it through without any pain meds but I do have a fairly high pain tolerance. I did ask for pain meds but by then I was 10cm and able to push so i never got them, but hence why I felt like I needed them. I was in full labor for about 1.5 hours and he was out in 4mins/2 pushes.

Induced at 41weeks 5 days - follie to dilate followed by 40 hours of labor, eight hours of pushing, emergency C-section at 3am because my daughter's heart couldn't take anymore. I blame the induction in me losing my son last Christmas day at 22wks4days due to cervical incompetence related to all the pushing and my cervix swelling at 9.5cms with my daughter. Pitocin is horrible. I'm a pain junkie, but the pain was beyond anything you'll ever experience. Good luck!

I wouldn’t recommend . With my first I was induced n it was the most painful labor ever compared to my other 2.!! My 2nd n 3rd were a piece of cake as I went in to labor on my own . I didn’t even take any pain med because I was able to handle it . If I have another baby I would def not get induced unless it was necessary !
