🥂 Winter is here in New England and it is my favorite time of year! I love, love, love the holidays. It’s always so magical around here and it’s a time to connect with family and friends. I start the holiday music playing right after Halloween and our Christmas tree has been up since November 1st! As you can imagine, I love the HOLIDAYS! I joked that it feels like I live in a Hallmark movie during the fall here in Rhode Island, it’s the same in the winter, too. .

With winter being here and the holidays upon us, I’m taking the time to do some fun things. Among these, my favorite is to surprise my kids in the morning with Christmas cookies. It’s a tradition I’ve done with my husband for years. Kids go to bed and we stay up and bake cookies! I love it because I’m able to take a minute and take a break from the holiday craze with my favorite @RiondoProsecco. .

I’ve committed this winter to #TakeASeccoTo enjoy the moments and keep up with the traditions. I always feel that someday my kids will forget what they got for Christmas, but they won’t forget mom and dad surprising them with holiday cookies in their lunches. I know that will always make them smile. It’s important to do those special things during the holiday and take a moment for YOU. Baking cookies is a simple thing to do, but it means so much more.
