So is it normal to lactate after over a year of not breast feeding? I’m lactating and my boobs are sore and sometimes feel like they’re on fire

Are you on a new medication by chance? That can cause it.

No. I started gushing blood a couple days after this. Answered itself..

I did with my son. Breastfed him for 2 weeks. Took a while for my milk to dry up but once it did and I wasn’t profusely leaking anymore, here and there I’d notice a couple of drops it didn’t stop until he was 10 months old-1yr

For a year, no not usually. After my daughter stopped breastfeeding at 2.5 it took about 2 months for my milk to be completely gone.

When I was pregnant I was lactating the entire time. He never perfected the latch early on so my milk supply went way down. By the time he was 4 months old I couldn’t really produce milk anymore. That’s why I’m confused with this

@addeeisme no there are other reasons too but seeing a doctor would help determine what it is
