I have a question for the ladies that have been on the Depo shot... After stopping, how long did it take you to conceive? My doctor told me that it wouldn’t be a problem, but I have yet to even get my period back..

If I miss a shot I get my period right away, but after I stopped getting it, it took 2 years before I got pregnant the first time(ended in miscarriage) then again 6 months later with my girls.
I never had it but my friend used to get it and it took her 2 years and rounds of fertility treatment to get pregnant after stopping it. She just wasn’t ovulating
After I got off depo I was on a 3 mth period. It probably messed up your period so it might take awhile. I know women are different though but it was the worst bc ever.
I’ve been off it for 8 months, I’m just worried since I haven’t had a period at all since.
@momtooneboy it probably just threw off your period it will come back some point lol. You can always ask a dr about it and let them know your trying.
Depo is horrible. When was your last shot? When I was due for my 4th shot I switched to pills and have had a normal period since.
@momtooneboy, I would also try this, they tried this for my friend for her to get her period back and they had her on it for two months and then she got her period and then took her off and conceived her first cycle

7 months . A lot of my friends had trouble conceiving after the depo as well and it took long . I only got on round of it . Worst BC I’ve ever taken by far .
Yeah, I’m definitely regretting it. I had 3 rounds, and haven’t had the shot for 8 months. Still no period, and not pregnant. 🙈

I was on it and it took forever to get back to normal and be able to conceive. I was on for 3 years and took 4 years to conceive. Hopefully wont be that long for you. What helped in the end is upspring fertility from target.
