They found us a new respite worker in a matter of hours! No week long phone tag, no multiple numbers to call, no weird sketchy messages that sounds like I’m talking to a spacey tweaker who just woke up after a binge at 6:06am. We meet her Monday and hopefully she’s a good fit!

As for the other respite worker, I was talking to another local mom who shared a similar experience with someone else so I no longer feel bad or awkward about feeling the way I did. My mother was an addict whose addiction ruined our family so I can’t allow that around my child. We all have our boundaries that require respect
