What age did you start potty training and how long did it take to learn?

My son started showing signs around two months before his 2nd birthday. I decided to give it a go & he was fully trained in two days (other than nights).

I waited until he showed signs. About 23 months he was doing really good but fell off the potty. He wasn’t having any of it after that. He wasn’t really interested but we started again around his third birthday. It took longer then I thought probably 5 months but he’s completely potty trained. Our problem was he didn’t really care. He’d sit in a dirty diaper all day wouldn’t bother him at all.

Started at 18m, I tried the 3 day potty method. Failed. Tried again at at 22m, failed again. My girl could go potty, she just didn’t want to. So frustrating. About 24m, my girl literally woke up one morning wanting to go potty!

With my oldest I tried at 2 1/2 he had no interest. Tried again at 3 but it was closer to 4 until he was completely potty trained. Were still working on night time. He wears underwear to bed but often wets the bed.
My youngest has showed interest since 15 months so hes been hit and miss since then, were currently working on fully potty training now and hes doing great. He wears a pullup in public and underwear at home. Hes dry most nights.
