I've noticed that in the past week or so that Haley (my younger daughter) doesn't seem satisfied when she finishes eating. She'll nurse for 20mins-an hour, want a big bottle (5+oz) and still be hungry...what do I do??

Could be a growth spurt. Offer more

Please don't put cereal in her bottle. So dangerous!

Offer more and pace fed.
Do not add anything to the bottles as it's a choking hazard

@armywife72515 I know, last part is just so you know not to follow the terrible and dangerous advice posted regarding cereal.

Growth spurt. Nurse more or formula. Rice cereal in a bottle is not only a choking hazard, but can cause stomach problems both now and later on in life. Look up open gut.

Offer more breast. She maybe lazy nursing to just get a bottle. Have you seen a lactation dr? Are you pumping at all?

I'm not pumping anymore since every time I tried was when she'd get hungry so I gave up

Pace feed and offer more often. She’s probably going through a growth spurt.
Adrienne Kark·
Definitely sounds like a growth spurt. If you wanna keep your milk supply up keep nursing as often as possible, she's trying to increase your milk supply by cluster feeding. You'll get through this mama!
