So my doctor just called. Blood draw two weeks ago was 207. Last week, 511, today 542. He no longer suspects ectopic or molar.. he says Its just an early miscarriage???? And that he didnt want to give me cytotec again because i just had it 4 months ago, with my last miscarriage and it's very rough on the body! He said he wants me to try to pass it on my own this time. He said if I hadn't passed it by next Tuesday, I can come in Tuesday morning at 9 am for a scan to see what's going on, and to be given cytotec as it runs risk of infection. Okay, soooo... he suspected ectopic or molar because of my slowly rising hcg levels, well what makes his diagnosis different this time??? My hcg levels haven't decreased... I'm so confused. I haven't passed any tissue or clots since I tested positive, 3 weeks ago, when I thought I was on my period, but instead found out I was pregnant. Wouldn't my levels be decreasing at this point if it was miscarriage ??

If your body hasn’t started releasing the tissue yet, you will still have these levels. But they have barely increased, that is why the difference today. I’m sorry for your loss. 😔

Thank you for helping me to understand, as I'm very confused. I've had 2 other miscarriages but none as early as this so didnt know what to expect or think. I've been bleeding since finding out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago, but no tissue or clots, still.

My levels slowly rose until they stopped but never left the 300s. Ex 300, 340, 357, 368,360.
Took them awhile to drop but eventually did and I naturally passed my baby. I'm sorry this is happening and I know the pain you're going to go through. If you need anything, even to ask a random question im here.

I guess since levels havent double but they have gone up. With my ectopic they keep going up but not doubling and he keep saying he was forsure my levels will be low and they never went down just slowly up. I would call him for a scan. Ur paying him it's not like hes paying u.🤦♀️ hate when DR. Do that. Pray for a faster answer for u cuz I know how this waiting is.😥

How high did your levels get to be ? He has me down for z scan on Tuesday if I haven't passed naturally by then. But if not, I'm definitely going to demand one Tuesday!

I agree. It was the same with my ectopic... slow rising but never had a drop. Unless he’s seen a drop he should still be monitoring you as suspected ectopic. This is scary!
My levels went up to 2290 and then it ruptured at almost 7 weeks.

I agree with you. Maybe he doesnt suspect ectopic anymore because my levels haven't gone over a 1000?? But are even more slowly rising now ?

I should be 6 weeks 4 days today. And yeah I'm scared because I feel like I still haven't gotten answers. Just alot of suspecting and thinking. But not an actual answer.

This is crazy how long they are leaving it for u! I would go to the hospital. I'm in Canada tho so things are a bit dif here. So sorry u are going through this hun. When I ahd my loss at 10 weeks. My numbers slowly went down but it took like 2 weeks for y body to start the miscarriage it was horrible and like labour for 5 hrs... thinking of you!
