What are your thoughts on the BC pill? I've always been terrified of birth control for many reasons but because my husband cannot get his vasectomy yet I want to take precautions because I definitely do not want to get pregnant again that quickly. Just not knowledgeable on birth control so what are your experiences using it?

I’ve been on the pill most of my adult life. As long as you take it like you should, it has a very high effective rate for most people. We only got pregnant when I went off the pill with the intention of getting pregnant. What makes you scared of the pill?

Just stories I've heard of how it affects your body, I always have a hard time regulating weight and I've been told my whole life that the pill will make you gain an outrageous amount of weight. And other people say it's hard to conceive again when you decide to get off the pill (not sure if I even want to but in the off chance we do). But I'm so scared of getting pregnant again too soon I'm willing to try it at this point just for peace of mind

It worked amazing for me. I used it effectively for over ten years before I had my daughter. I will same for me personally it made me have crazy mood swings when I was pmsing. Like straight up psycho. It doesn't happen to everyone. Just make sure you're intuitive with your body when you're on it and switch pills or bc methods if you have to. Be patient when starting it takes 3 months or more for your body to get used to it.

I used the combo pill for 5 years and had 0 side effects. I got pregnant with my son on the mini pill

I was in the pill before and it's the only one I liked. I'm just not good with remembering lol
