I truly need to know does anyone else on thanksgiving not make mashed potatos???? I'm truly in shock.. first thanksgiving with the inlaws and they told my husband and I they don't make them... so weird to me... missing my family so much more this thanksgiving!

We don't do reg mashed potatoes either we do sweet with marshmallow on top🤤

Oh it’s a must that you have mashed potatoes at thanksgiving. I will not go anywhere when there’s no mashed potatoes. I understand some people don’t like regular potatoes can substitute it with sweet potatoes or mashed cauliflower but you got to have mashed potatoes for thanksgiving.
I agree. They do sweet potatoes I guess. Just so odd. It's the first Thanksgiving I'm not doing with my family.. I miss my family already.

My in-laws don’t do mashed potatoes either. They do sweet potatoes instead. We have thanksgiving together (my family and Dh’s family) so we’ll have both since my mom is hosting this year. 🤣
