My job has NO heat. And also had no AC this summer. They have had someone “look” at it a few times but they always say the same thing. It’s an old building so the heat works but the heating system is so old it’s basically barely working. So the company I work for doesn’t want to pay to fix it (billion dollar corporation). It also has a mouse infestation.
So I’m over it and looking for a new job. Since I been at this job almost 5 years I have no idea how to go about it. I applied to a bunch of places online. Do I now call them and harass them?
I need a new job and hope to get one soon 😭

Ahhhh, sounds like my job. I work for an international, billion dollar Corp that could careless about their ppl. Everyone took pay cuts and the plant part of corporate went through layoffs and cutbacks so they could "do improvements" and ended up doing jack crap. Good luck complaining because of you do, it will only get worse. They actually moved my team from a building in campus to a temporary trailer, that was supposed to be an upgrade. You've never felt cold in the winter until you've had to work in a trailer. Honestly, I have days like you all the time that I all myself why I waited money getting a PhD or even get up in the morning to go into that crap. Good luck with the job search.
