Last week this tree at #Pepperdine University was dedicated to my beautiful niece Alaina. The tree was given by a family who was helped 18 years ago by Alaina’s parents, my brother and sister in law Arik and Hannah, in the wake of the 9/11 tragedies. On the plaque it reads “Our Pepperdine community was better because she was with us.” She truly was amazing. I miss her so much and I’m grateful that there is a piece of her at her school and my alma mater. #myangel
