Here’s my birth story:

Monday we went in to get checked, baby was still high up so we talked about getting induced using cervidil on Tuesday. Monday about 12:30am I went to take a shower as I was standing under the water I feel like slime running down my leg. Got out the shower and asked my SO to look up “what it feel like when your water is leaking” he did that and I got dressed. Bent down to pick up towels and soaked though my underwear and I knew that it was my water. Called the hospital and they said come in. We put our bags and everything we needed in the car and headed off. The whole hour and 1/2 drive I was okay and relaxed. Got to the hospital and got checked i was 2cm. At about 8am they started me on pitocin. Contractions started. At 10 am doctor came in and checked me and nothing i was still the same. Nurse kept coming in and out my room every time I had contractions and I ask what was wrong and she said baby’s heart rate was dropping when I had a contraction. Soon after the doctor told me I had to make a choice cause he was taking me off pitocin and he didn’t want me to have any iv pain meds because he didn’t want her heart rate to keep dropping and I didn’t want an epidural so me and my SO talked about getting the c section then about 2 hours later we were holding our baby girl.
