I would think both. Love because well who wouldn’t wanna be in love with the person you are to come home to every single day. Also, I would think security, because who doesn’t wanna feel secure in their marriage?!
Both!! I really cared for someone years ago, talking age 18, 19, but I just knew he would not be able to provide any type of security down the road. So I went off to college and let things go. We are still friends on FB and he’s a really nice guy, but I was right. He still struggles with money.
Hopefully that doesn’t make me a bad person. But it was a decision I made for my future. 🤷🏼♀️
@mrsclarksonlee, well....I immediately thought of security for the future. Yes, security equals a home and someone that I know is responsible and wants the same future as me.
Expand my mind and tell me what else you were thinking of in terms of security.
@justgotaname I understand what you mean, but just wanted to see what security means to you. To me, when I say security, I mean being secure within your relationship by knowing that you're the ONLY woman for him. Security also means having trust for one another. Not having to second guess their love for you is security. I think a lot of people connect material things and security together and that's why lots of people are in these messed up situations and are afraid of moving on. They're afraid of the what ifs.
