My newborn baby haven't had a bowel movement all day. What are somethings that I can do?
Call baby’s doctor with anything in regards to newborns. A lot of things can hurt them. But if baby is breastfed, going a few days is nothing to worry about, especially if they’re not showing signs of being uncomfortable
Newborns sometimes can go a few days without pooping. I would call the doctor if you're concerned before trying to stimulate baby into going unless you can tell your bean is in pain and really has to go but can't.
My little one only pooped about once every 8-10 days for the first 5 months of her life. Are you breastfeeding or formula feeding? Poop patterns are different for the two. I was concerned but the doctor told me formula fed babies will poop every day at least whereas normalcy for breastfed babies can be anywhere from every diaper change to only once a week.
You can try a little Vaseline or if the LO isn’t showing signs of discomfort I wouldn’t be too concerned.
And massage her belly . Stretch your hand so your fingers are on each side of belly under the belly button and massage in gentle circles with ur thumb and the index and middle on the other side
Thanks everyone I rubbed her tummy and bicycled her legs and everything worked out.
