I see moms ready to give birth and get back to work, I can’t wait till I can go on leave/ quit! 😩😭 I’ve wanted to be a SAHM or housewife my whole life lol work just ain’t for me lol 😂
SAHM life is the best! Look forward to it and don’t look back. The time you get with your little one is priceless and so special. Nobody will love and care for them like you will ❤️
I've been doing it for 3 years now and as much as I love my daughter it gets so lonely. And it can cause a bit of depression from time to time because yes you have your child but they are not really great with the entertaining conversation. I think it takes a toll on you mentally and you need to be prepared for that.
I couldn’t wait to be a SAHM either. I’ve always wanted to. Been at it for a year now, and uh yea I want to go back to work lol.
@lovelily0106, Girl all of it lol. No but um, it just depends. It’s like I feel like a year is enough. I got to see all her firsts and just pour into her and give her the best start that I could. But my daughter is such an extrovert. I can definitely tell She needs more than staying at home can give her. I can only go to the park or do activities, and have her cousins over so much. I feel like I’m doing her a disservice by staying home now.. And as for me, I just want a balance. It’s literally just me and her and all the things I can do for her all day, but I need more as well. I thought this would be it for me, but it is super tough. It gets lonely believe it or not, and It’s literally no break. And although I don’t think break is the best word, I feel that it would do her good to learn to be away from me as well.
@mommyof1beauty, I get what you mean. It’s equally better for the both of y’all. I thought about how to combat the boredom I know will come, and that’s why I would want to take this opportunity to start my business. But I totally understand what you mean
@lovelily0106, to combat occasional boredom we plan play dates with family and friends at least once or twice a week. Go to the park, baby/toddler classes at the library, walks and backyard play. There’s so many activities of things to do on Pinterest. My son is always learning. There’s so much more to fill the day than tv.
I’m planning to quit after maternity leave but to put in work in to starting my business
Me too, maybe I shoulda added that lol 😂 I want to start a skincare line/business, but to me it won’t be “work” in that sense cuz it’s what I’m passion about. And it will give me the flexibility to still take care of home and my baby. My mom worked so much when I was young, we were basically raised by my grandma, and all that stress made her sick eventually. I don’t want to go down the same path
@lovelily0106, I know im suppper late lol. But I’m an esthetician and I love skin care. I plan to work in a spa part time to get some experience . I eventually want to start my own skin care line
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Staying at home really is great! I actually planned on going back to work than circumstances changed. And I’m just so glad I get to stay home now. Like he knows me, not someone else who he spends 8 hours a day with. I think whatever people feel comfortable doing they should do it. It does get lonely sometimes. Making mom friends is hard.
