Well I got it , it wasn't to bad going in only cause I have good pain tolerance but time they put it in they told me they would let hit it when they got back by time than my son was coming lol so I went natural basically lol i hit the button anyways during so after having him I was numb. This time going to do hypnobabies and go natural

Epidurals r good for the moment.but u have bad back pain afterwards and I found out its fetenayl

I had one with my first and it was wonderful. No complaints on my part. I didn’t have it with my son because labor progressed too quickly

I would get mine a thousand times over. My contractions were extremely irregular and didn't come in waves. They just kept going continuously and I didn't get a break. Once the epidural was in I took a nap and a few hours later I was almost fully dilated and then baby was here! No after effects. It wore off by the time skin to skin was over and I was in our recovery room.

I got it. Best decision I ever made. The back pain I had after lasted maybe a month. Then it was gone and it only bothered me when I was leaning over to change a diaper or something which is all about position change.

Yes my epidural was helpful. I was exhausted before my epidural so it helped me to relax a lot and that helped labor to progress.. It didn’t hurt getting it, but the numbing part before you get the shot stings.. I ended up having to a get a c section so I had a lot of meds and because of it, I don’t remember a lot of my delivery and after. I hate that I was so drugged to where I didn’t even know who cut her umbilical cord or anything. I just remember her crying, me asking if she was ok. And then I was out. There’s a video of me holding her but I hate watching it because I was in outer space. I literally questioned my family like why did y’all let me handle her while I was so out of it. But before the c section, I believe the epidural was perfectly fine. I just had to get more medicine on top of the epidural for an emergency c section.

I’ll never get one again after doing it without and seeing I really can do it. It gave me back problems every time and after my second time it was soooo bad for MONTHS.

I have a herniated disc in my back where I had my epidural. And now I won’t be able to ever have one again which I’m okay with. Do your research on it and how everything works.
