5:12AM and can’t sleep for nothing! Who’s up with me? I had my son 6 weeks ago and my husband got a new shift a couple months before he was born that I agreed to 5am-1:30pm so he could be home half the day when our son was born and things were fine but now ever since my husband went back to work 4 weeks ago( he took 2 weeks of PTO after our song was born) I have nightmares and get scared once my husband leaves for work I end up taking our son in the living room with me(putting him in the pack n play sleeping side) and I lay out the recliner and sleep out there (we live in a 2 bedroom apt) idk why I’m like this but it’s horrible feeling scared and having nightmares almost every night idk what I can do. I already asked my husband if he can Swift shifts to something else for this reason but there isn’t any other shifts available

Just do that it’s nothing wrong with it. I swear I was the same when I had my first I was so scared. I loved being in my living room with the baby idk y. But u have to do what makes u happy. U got this and things will get easier.

I did the same thing and my doctor told me I had post partum anxiety and post partum depression. It's normal for moms to worry about completely random things but talk to your OB about your fears and maybe they can point you in the right direction. Either by prescribing some medication for you, giving you calming techniques to practice or some kind of homeopathic remedies. It doesn't hurt to ask for help. My husband worked 70+ hours a week from the time our son was born and it was very difficult as a mom with no friends or family in the area. Keep your head up and down let that crown slip. You're doing a great job
