it was fine for me, they inserted the pessary around 3.30pm and then not long after I was having mild contractions, so to try and get things moving I was walking around the hospital and then by midnight they were a lot more stronger but still bareable I was in and out of sleep but I got some sleep at least!😂and then by 6am they were really intense it made me sick so I rung my buzzer and they transferred me to the labour ward and by 8.56 I had my little girl🙊xx

I have :) it’s actually good as soon as I was induced it all started happening naturally... I was induced at 9-10 in the morning and she was here 10:30 at night the same day 😁😁 xx

Ah okies. I just wish he just hurry up now. Sick of waiting around not knowing what to do with my self 😂 x got midwife tomorrow tho 🤞x

I was induced at 38 weeks. Pessary went in at about 4pm and he was born at 3.23am so just under 12 hours mines took. Contractions started pretty quickly for me! xx

I've been induced twice both at 38wks. First one I went in at 9am had 6hr pessary. They then broke my waters at around 2pm ish (was 10yr ago) she was born at 11:41pm the same day.
My second I had a sweep on 19th december.
went in at 3pm on 21st december. Had the 24hr pessary. Then had 6hr pessary.
Had my waters broken at 4pm on 23rd december and she was born at 10:34pm on 23rd december
My second induction was hell compared to my first

I was, had the pessary at 11am contractions started about 6/7 and i had her at 6.14 the following morning by ventouse delivery..
Naturally with my 2nd and for me that was an easier labour but only because it was quicker, contractions started about 11pm and i had her at 1.50am xx

I was induced in July. Had the pessary at 1pm. Started having niggles later that evening which turned into mild contractions. Half of my waters broke about 3am so I was moved to labour ward. Contractions were stronger then had waters fully broke about 9am and contractions were then even stronger. Had her in the pool at 11.40am. I found my induction a lot better than I expected and also liked it better than my natural labour with my first daughter. From what I read inductions can vary from person to person. Good luck xx
