So.... I’m in the hospital preparing for birth... today they are just using cervidil which is basically like a tampon with medicine in it. It’s to ripen my cervix because I’m only 1 cm dilate. It takes 12 hours to take effect so not much happening today. I’m just resting. I’ll keep you guys updated 🥰

Good luck! That’s all it took (plus breaking my water at 5cm) and my girl was here ab 15 hours later.
I had a similar thing they told me at least 24 hours but nope he came in 10 hours lol x
My water broke 4 hours after insertion and I delivered 15 hours after.
I had to do that 3 times which is why it took me 3 days to deliver my baby when I was induced. She just didn't want to come out lol. I hope it goes faster for you!
I was induced with cervidil and delivered within 4 hours.
Good luck!! I was induced with cervidil and pitocin and he was born in 3 hours. Hopefully you have a fast and easy labor!
