We were talking about this in class last night. We have to be mindful of how we speak & process our emotions... by feeling them but not becoming them & holding on to them. If we say “I am angry” then anger becomes a part of our identities, but if we say “I feel angry”, then we understand that it is a feeling that eventually will pass. It’s never about not feeling or completely mastering to quiet the mind, but rather feel & (acknowledge) the emotion, understand WHY you feel it & how it makes you feel and then release it...trust me, I know it’s easier said than done, almost everything is loll but once we slowly learn how to acknowledge & dismiss our thoughts, we learn how to get rid of unhealthy thought patterns that are not good for us & trap us in a mental cycle... we are the tool, our mind is the tool💓 Have a beautiful Tuesday!💓
