I was on the depo for a long time before I got pregnant that worked well for me had no side affects. After I had the baby I went on the pill I got bad headaches so I got off of it. But the depo takes about a year to get out your system if you plan to have anymore kids
I’ve been on the birth control pill almost my whole adult life (20+ years). Some of the pill brands did give me sore breasts, so I just worked with my doctor to find a different kind that didn’t. The nice thing about the pill is that it will help your cycle become extremely regular, so you will know exactly when to expect your period. And it also tends to make your periods much shorter in duration.
I was on a combination pill for ten years. It wreaked havoc on my body and I will never do it again. I had the worst mood swings and could eat the equivalent of an almost 300 lb man. I had great skin though lol. After I had my daughter I didn't go back on it and just did family planning.
