Tomorrow my son is spending the day with his aunty so I ask him if he's going to miss mommy and daddy and he looks at me with a smurk. So I tell him it's okay to express exactly how he feels. And he says yes. Lol
Do you moms allow your kids to be totally expressive with their feeling even through it may hurt yours?

Yes I want to know how they feel now matter how it will make me feel
I only ask cause growing up my mom allowed us to be very blunt and honest about our feelings. In the real world some people can't handle that sometimes.

@meadlenaya41701 me too. Hopefully, we get that. I got 2 boys so idk how comfortable they feel about talking to me about some things.
I encourage honesty but try to temper it with saying it the gentlest way possible. Sometimes there is no easy way to say it, or if it some stranger, then give it to them both barrels, though. :)
