Ladies with or has had baby girls . My 3 month old girl has had a red puffy vagina for a couple days now and I’ve tried diaper rash cream and changing her diaper more often and I don’t have the money to take her to the pediatrician right now . What could it be and how can I help it

Have you applied for Medicad? That way you’ll be able to take her anytime, and all her shots are covered with Medicad as well

try out a local clinic, you don’t want it to get worse down there

It’s probably hurting her :( I’d take her to the doctor

Maybe take her to a clinic instead? I’ve heard they’re often cheaper.

Is the white build up? It maybe a yeast infection.

Sounds like it could be a yeast infection, I’d take her to the doctors. My daughter had one a few weeks ago and it wouldn’t clear up with anything over the counter

if you can’t take her to the pediatrician i’d recommend the ER, expect a long wait and a bill. gotta do what you gotta do, she’s probably in pain or uncomfortable and like said above could be a yeast infection maybe something else that can’t be diagnosed by anyone other than a doctor. 😕 try applying for medicaid, or an urgent care that’ll bill you. I know urgent cares around me are 20$-50$ without ins.

Take her to a clinic.

Lotrimin is an OTC topical antifungal and will treat a yeast infection. ER is for emergencies, not a rash.

My baby girl is a week old today. I had some tell me that I needed to stop changing her diaper so much... She has a bad habit of pooping right after I change her diaper (therefore I change it again because I don't want a diaper rash to have to doctor)... They told me to stop changing her as much and let it build up a little before changing the diaper out. In my opinion, that would be really uncomfortable for Piper... Opinions??
