is it normal to not have a period on the pill? im 40 days late, I'm on birth control pills and breastfeed my 3 month old. ive never not had a period while breastfeeding, so im guessing its the pill...

It can be normal yes. You're most likely not on a combo pill so skipping sugar pills.

Depends on which kind you have. Some bc pills will get rid of periods all together while others allow you to keep it but I’ve heard a lot about people who breast feed not having a period until they stop too.

I’m currently breastfeeding my fourth (7mo) and haven’t had a period, this is the first time i haven’t gotten my period while breastfeeding. I breastfeed all four of mine.

yeah I swear I been breastfeeding for 5 years. I breastfed my 5 year old til she was 3.5 years old, stopped cuz I got pregnant and milk went bye bye, took a 9 month ish break breastfed my 1 year old 6 months cuz I got pregnant took a like 8 month ish break now im on 3 months almost 4 months this final round.

Probably the combination of breastfeeding and the pill. I didn’t have a period when I breastfed but I wasn’t on the pill.
